Memoirs and Biographies:
The Gift of a Legacy
20251203_131106_edited.jpg

Years ago, I set out to record the story of my grandparents who homesteaded a section of land in northern Saskatchewan in the 1930s. It was a great learning experience, and a rewarding one. I gathered historical information, gleaned stories from relatives, and had the fortune of some transcripted interviews with my grandfather, Howard, in his final years. My only wish was that I'd had more time, more stories, and the inflection of his own story-telling cadence with which to craft this family legacy piece.

Since that first effort to write and print my family story, I've become determined to help others create meaningful memoirs, preserving beloved and important memories for future generations. It would be my privilege to ghostwrite your unique personal history, or someone else whose story would be meaningful.

A note about AI. I believe a human story, one that illustrates the depth and breadth of real-lived experiences, is best told by a great writer - not by a computer program. Many big memoir companies have transitioned to using AI to write customers' stories. That's not how I work. The memoirs I ghostwrite pull together a deeply nuanced understanding of love, joy, pain, healing, success and relationships, personalized meaning I draw out of  my collaborative relationships with my clients. A good story consists of so much more than just words. If you feel similar, we might be a good match :).

Business Memoirs and Biographies - Legacy Projects

The successful building and growing of a business is worth celebrating, especially at key milestones. Whether you are part of a team that began as a small start-up and are coming up to your ten year anniversary, or are in the process of handing off the reins of a 4th generation company to your successor, a legacy memoir is a priceless momento that will showcase the values, commitment and strength that resides at the heart of a thriving organization. The story and successes of you and your company are worth commemorating!

The price for a bound business legacy memoir is based on the proposed length, number and quality of copies, the intensity of my involvement (which could include interviews, research, in-house tours), and two revisions to the manuscript. Please contact me today for a quote!
